Spend money to buy peace of mind
As the high school graduation exam is approaching, Hai Nguyen (Huynh Thuc Khang High School, Nghe An ) said that he often uses Chat GPT to practice English. In it, AI becomes the person who grades the test, corrects grammar errors or answers questions about vocabulary and structure.
Also a senior student, Tran Lam (Chu Van An High School for the Gifted, Hanoi ) downloaded software with Chatbot support.
"Some apps like Qanda, Gauth,... are always available in the phone. All of them have AI, you just need to take a photo of a difficult question, AI can explain each step, give suggestions and evaluate the exercise.
Outside of class time, the convenience of AI has helped students fill in gaps in their knowledge, easily get detailed analytical answers, and save time asking teachers. However, it makes me lazy to think sometimes, just relying on AI to solve the problem," Lam said.

Not only do students research on their own, some parents also proactively buy upgraded AI packages to help their children access artificial intelligence platforms.
Ms. Khuong (Ba Vi, Hanoi) said that she spends about 500,000 VND per month to buy the upgraded version of AI Gemini. "I saw that my child responded well to using AI to look up documents and exam questions, so I invested so that my child can exploit information easily," Ms. Khuong said.
This parent also said that the above investment was carefully considered after the family consulted teachers and friends.
Although AI cannot replace teachers, it will be a good tool if children know how to use it. Many homework solving applications grasp the trend of using artificial intelligence and quickly update their products. Therefore, investing in this additional account for her child makes her feel more secure.
Companionship, cannot be a "shortcut"
AI has the ability to synthesize knowledge and analyze superiorly, so many teachers have recorded positive changes in students' learning habits with the support of AI.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, a biology teacher at Chu Van An High School for the Gifted in Hanoi, shared that teachers also use artificial intelligence to refer to lesson suggestions for students and suggest ways for them to use AI effectively.
"Most students will solve the questions themselves. When there are difficult questions, they will copy them into AI to see how to solve them and do them again to remember them for a long time," said Ms. Ha.
Ms. Ha noticed that when reviewing biology, many students will create mind maps of chapters to easily memorize, but she advises students to check the accuracy of the results themselves based on their own abilities.
According to her, AI should only be a reference tool because the results also depend on the commands and context provided by the user.

Ms. Thuy Dung, a teacher at Thuong Cat High School (Hanoi), is concerned that although artificial intelligence helps speed up learning, it can cause students to lose reflexes and test-taking skills.
"The exam questions under the new program focus on high applicability instead of a lot of theory and limited question types like the old exam. Therefore, many students who are used to finding answers using AI will not have the skills to synthesize, analyze and think to solve the questions themselves," said Ms. Dung.
Ms. Dung commented that in some cases, students even took advantage of AI to cheat, copying answers into their papers. "AI writes very fluently, but without real emotions. When students only rely on AI's suggestions, their papers will be similar, lacking personality and depth."
She also noted that AI is suitable to help students in the idea development stage, but cannot replace real skills. Therefore, AI should only be a companion instead of a "shortcut" in learning.
