The Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union of the province organized a tree planting campaign titled "Forever Grateful to Uncle Ho".

In the joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere of the early days of the Lunar New Year of the Snake - 2025, this morning, February 2nd, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union and the Secretariat of the Vietnam Youth Union of Quang Tri province organized the launching ceremony of the "Forever Grateful to Uncle Ho" tree planting festival in Cam Thuy commune, Cam Lo district, and directed all levels of the Youth Union to simultaneously organize tree planting activities throughout the province.

Following the teachings of the great President Ho Chi Minh , in recent years, the youth of Quang Tri have actively organized tree-planting festivals to commemorate Uncle Ho every time Tet (Lunar New Year) comes around.

This is an annual activity, demonstrating the proactive spirit and responsibility of young people in protecting the environment and responding to climate change. Through this, it makes a significant contribution to proactively preventing natural disasters, regulating the climate, improving the ecological environment, and beautifying the natural landscape.

At the ceremony, representatives from the Standing Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union requested the Cam Lo District Youth Union to implement and maintain the greening project to improve the landscape; called on officials, union members, and young people to actively participate in the Tet Tree Planting Festival with the highest spirit and sense of responsibility; participate in planting, caring for, and protecting trees right at their offices, schools, and areas where they work and live; and participate in reforestation, forest protection, and development in their localities and units.

We urge all levels of the Youth Union to effectively implement the target of "Each Youth Union member and young person planting and caring for at least one tree annually" to contribute to greening the environment and improving living conditions.

On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union and the Secretariat of the Vietnam Youth Union of the province presented a landscaping project to Nhat Le village, Cam Thuy commune, to improve the environment through tree planting.
