On the afternoon of June 18, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province held a ceremony to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025). Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Tran Thu Mai - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Committee. Also attending were members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee; representatives of the leaders of the advisory and support agencies of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of the affiliated Party Committees; departments, branches, sectors, socio- political organizations of the province; Provincial Journalists Association; provincial press agencies; along with nearly 300 journalists and reporters from provincial press agencies, resident agencies, and representative offices of central and Ho Chi Minh City press agencies located in the province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nghiem Xuan Thanh reviewed the history of formation and development of the Vietnamese revolutionary press in general, and the Khanh Hoa press in particular; the role and importance of the press in contributing to the construction and socio -economic development of the province; providing important information on the political, socio-economic situation of the province, and development orientations in the coming time. Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nghiem Xuan Thanh suggested that in the coming time, press agencies and press teams continue to pay attention to building and developing a team of journalists who are truly soldiers on the cultural and ideological front, with "bright minds, pure hearts, sharp pens", "both red and professional"; steadfast in the ideals and noble values of journalism, adhering to principles, maintaining professional ethics, having an offensive spirit, fighting to eliminate the bad and the wrong, protecting the right and the good, always wholeheartedly and wholeheartedly for the common cause; To promote the role of the press as a truly sharp weapon and effective tool of the Party on the ideological front, and to produce more press works with high theoretical and political value. At the same time, to focus on propagating, encouraging, and rallying the masses to implement the Party's policies and guidelines; to promote the strength of the great national unity bloc, to encourage, motivate, and spread the good values of the land and people of Khanh Hoa; to enhance cultural values in press works; to strongly promote digital transformation and innovation; to focus on promoting all factors in the stages of digital transformation of the press, to focus on training human resources on digital platforms, human resources in professional expertise, etc.

At the ceremony, delegates watched the documentary "100 years of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism - Khanh Hoa journalism makes its mark and develops" produced by Khanh Hoa Newspaper; listened to the sharing and discussion on: "Promoting the role, mission and strength of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism, building a professional, humane and modern Khanh Hoa Newspaper" presented by journalist Thai Thi Le Hang - Editor-in-Chief of Khanh Hoa Newspaper; "Improving professional ethics and social responsibility of Khanh Hoa journalists in the new era" presented by the leader of the Provincial Journalists Association; "The press contributes to building Khanh Hoa province to develop to become a centrally-run city" presented by the leader of the Representative Office of Nhan Dan Newspaper.

Within the framework of the celebration, the Provincial People's Committee also organized the awarding ceremony of the Khanh Hoa Press Award 2025. Accordingly, the Organizing Committee of this year's Khanh Hoa Press Award received a total of 116 entries. Of which, there were 42 printed newspaper entries; 41 electronic newspaper entries; 17 television entries; 9 radio entries. Through a serious and objective judging process, 22 entries by authors and groups of authors were awarded the Khanh Hoa Press Award 2025 by the Provincial People's Committee. The first prize all belonged to Khanh Hoa Newspaper with 2 entries: Television reportage "Homeland"; series of articles "Returning purity to a river". In addition, Khanh Hoa Newspaper also won 2 second prizes, 4 third prizes and 6 consolation prizes.
