Previously, the City Party Committee and the People's Committee of Da Lat City had directed agencies and units to transfer documents from the old units to the new units. Despite the weekend, the People's Committees of wards and functional departments of Da Lat City worked continuously, through the night, to move documents, machinery and equipment to the new headquarters, ensuring the set plan, not affecting the work of handling administrative procedures when merging and moving the headquarters.

According to the work arrangement, the entire force currently performing tasks at the One-Stop Department of the People's Committee of Da Lat City will go to Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat to guide and instruct new cadres and civil servants of the ward from June 23 to 30.

Therefore, all unfinished documents under the authority of the People's Committee of Da Lat City will be processed at Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat. During the trial operation of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat, the working groups of Lam Dong province will regularly monitor, guide and remove any difficulties and problems that arise.

According to the CAND Newspaper reporter, it was the first day of trial operation of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat but the administrative procedure settlement at the Public Administration Service Center operated smoothly and orderly. According to Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, the direct trial operation of 6 selected commune-level administrative units aims to visually assess for research and draw common experience; assess difficulties and obstacles in organization and operation to promptly adjust, ensure rationality, suitability to reality and ensure the operation of 124 commune-level administrative units of Lam Dong province from July 1.

5 department-level leaders hold key positions at commune level

On June 22, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee issued a decision to transfer 5 department-level leaders to take on key positions in a number of communes and wards, officially effective from July 1.

Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province, was transferred to work at the Party Committee of B'Lao ward (Bao Loc city) and was appointed by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Secretary of B'Lao ward, term 2025-2030.

Mr. Tong Giang Nam, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Lam Dong province, is expected to hold the position of Secretary of Da Teh commune; Mr. Nguyen Tran Nhat Huy, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance of Lam Dong province, is expected to hold the position of Secretary of Ninh Gia commune.

Mr. Nguyen Van Duc, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Lam Dong province, was assigned to the People's Committee of Bao Thuan commune (Di Linh district), expected to hold the position of Commune Chairman, and Mr. Che Vu Vu, Deputy Director of the Management Board of Tuyen Lam National Tourist Area, was transferred to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Ta Hine commune (Duc Trong district).

According to the Resolution on administrative unit arrangement, after completion, the new Lam Dong province will have 124 commune-level administrative units, including 103 communes, 20 wards and 1 special zone, becoming the province with the largest area in the country with 24,233km2. Of which, 99 communes, 20 wards, 1 special zone were formed after the arrangement, implementing the name change regulations and 4 communes did not implement the arrangement (Quang Hoa, Quang Son, Quang Truc, Ninh Gia communes).
