1,200 Hai Duong officials, civil servants and public employees will quit their jobs in batches.

The Hai Duong Department of Home Affairs has received 1,200 applications from officials, civil servants and public employees wishing to resign from 12 People's Committees of districts, towns and cities. Of these, there is 1 application from a provincial-level civil servant, 64 applications from officials and civil servants of district-level People's Committees, 57 applications from officials and employees of district-level People's Committees and 1,078 applications from commune-level officials and civil servants.

The Hai Duong Department of Home Affairs has urgently conducted an assessment based on the principles of democratic centralism, objectivity, publicity, fairness and compliance with regulations. However, the implementation process encountered some difficulties due to regulations and the difference between the number of employees who requested to resign and the number of employees required after the reorganization.

From there, the Hai Duong Department of Home Affairs proposed to approve and resolve policies for the subjects in batches from July 1 and the following batches to stabilize the apparatus, arrange enough cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers for the commune-level government apparatus according to the new payroll framework; at the same time, correctly identify the redundant subjects due to streamlining after the arrangement.

In addition, according to the initial review results of the Hai Duong Department of Home Affairs, departments, branches and units of Hai Duong province proposed nearly 1,300 civil servants, public employees and workers in agencies and units subject to merger to work directly in Hai Duong province at present.
