The habit of sending handwritten letters and writing diaries has been maintained by the young couple since they first met until now. On the first day of entering university, a classmate jokingly said that he would "matchmake" Linh with a close friend from high school named Lam. Through his friend's story, Linh learned that the guy was gentle, friendly and very good at studying. She thought the story was just for fun, but on New Year's Eve 2024, Linh received a text message from a strange phone number, claiming to be a classmate of Linh's university classmate. At first, Linh replied to the text message out of politeness. Then, the daily greetings and humorous stories Lam told captivated Linh without her realizing it. Linh opened her heart and confided more about herself. The Tet holidays passed quickly, and before going to school, the couple shared their addresses with each other.

Arranged a weekend, Linh rode her motorbike to school to meet Lam. The calm, polite and handsome appearance of the student made Linh fall in love even more. Lam took his girlfriend for a walk around the school grounds and explained with pride and arrogance about the school he attended. Lam stood in the middle, took out a red velvet rose from his pocket and gave it to the girl with the message: "The first time I met you, I liked the way you smiled, the way you looked at me and the way you talked. That was also the first time my heart fluttered, thinking so much about a girl!". In front of everyone, Linh was moved, tears of happiness rolled down her face.

Over time, the two grew more in love and bonded. Both families' parents knew that they loved each other and always encouraged them to study hard, so they were very supportive. After graduation, he would take her to be his wife.
