Organizing a Famtrip delegation to survey tourist areas and spots in Ca Mau province

During 2 days from October 2 to October 3, 2024, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a Famtrip to survey and introduce tourism products to major tourist areas and spots in Ca Mau province. The visiting delegation included representatives of media units, radio stations; travel companies and the Provincial Tourism Association.

Famtrip delegation surveyed at Ozon Restaurant - Hotel

Located on the Ca Mau - Dat Mui tourist route, Ozon Restaurant - Hotel is the first place the group stops to survey and record. Ozon Hotel meets 3-star standards with 60 rooms and bungalows designed with luxury and modern amenities. Ozon Restaurant is prominently designed on the riverside with a capacity of over 600 guests, specializing in serving specialties of the Ca Mau river region.

Next, the group explored and surveyed the Mui Ca Mau Tourist Area and participated in the experience of the Mui Ca Mau Family Garden forest tour. Coming to the forest tour, the group traveled by convenient canoe to experience river tourism, explore the mangrove ecosystem, learn about the creatures under the forest canopy, take photos next to the old mangrove roots, rest and relax at the unique rest stop on the west coast alluvial land, learn about the oyster cage farming profession - a farming profession that brings in high economic benefits for the people of Dat Mui.

The Mui Ca Mau National Park Forest Tour has recently been put into operation to serve tourists with the goal of developing community-based ecotourism and improving the quality of Dat Mui tourism products to meet the needs of visitors, raise community awareness in forest protection, biodiversity protection, conservation of existing valuable resources with local cultural identity, and efforts to develop sustainable tourism.

As part of the survey program, the delegation still learned and explored some tourist attractions such as: Hoang Hon and Nam Huong community eco-tourism sites; Dam Thi Tuong tourist area, the Provincial base area where the locals often do things like raking clams, boiling crabs, catching three-sided crabs at night, ...

Through Famtrips, information about the destination is actively and widely spread on social networking sites, newspapers, etc. Specifically, there are now more than 30 articles and photo reports published to promote the province. Famtrip determines the quality of services before selling products to customers; creating opportunities for tourist destinations and travel agencies to remove, build suitable tourism products, discuss price policies, tours, and design appropriate tourism programs between setting needs and service providers.
