Kinhtedothi-On November 10, Politburo member and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh attended the 2024 National Great Unity Day in Ia Nueng village, Bien Ho commune, Pleiku city, Gia Lai province.
Also attending were Minister, Chairman of the Ethnic Committee Hau A Lenh; leaders and representatives of a number of central ministries and branches and leaders of Gia Lai province.
Ia Nueng village is a commune on the outskirts of Pleiku city; there are 225 households with nearly 1,100 people, most of whom are Jrai ethnic people, living mainly on agriculture and raising livestock and poultry. Up to now, many households in the village have known how to apply science and technology to production, becoming well-off and rich households.
Ia Nueng was chosen by Pleiku city as the site for building a "New rural village among ethnic minorities", creating leverage to build a community tourism village.
Attending the National Great Unity Day in Ia Nueng village, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh acknowledged and highly appreciated the results in socio-economic development that the cadres and people of Ia Nueng village have achieved in the past time. At the same time, he hoped that the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front and mass organizations at all levels of Gia Lai province in general and the cadres and people of Ia Nueng village in particular would continue to promote the fine tradition, unite to build the homeland to become increasingly rich, civilized and unique.
Continue to promote and strengthen the strength of the great national unity bloc, traditional cultural identity, focus on successfully completing the local socio-economic tasks. Gradually turn Ia Nueng into a bright spot of community tourism, attracting tourists, thereby improving the income and life of the people.
