From April 24 to 27 in Dien Bien Phu City (Dien Bien Province), the Department of Cinema, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien Province and related units organized a Film Week to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory.

As planned, the opening ceremony of the Film Week will take place on the evening of April 24 at Dien Bien Phu Cinema. The opening ceremony will screen the feature film Dao, Pho and Piano and the documentary Ky uoc ngu nguoi truyen toa.
Along with the film screening, on this occasion, the Cinema Department will organize two exchange sessions between the film artists of the two film crews Dao, Pho and Piano and the Rose Squad with officers and soldiers of the 82nd Infantry Regiment, Division 355 - Military Region II and officers, teachers and students of Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Dien Bien province.
At the same time, the Department organized a group of artists to offer incense at the Martyrs' Temple, visit historical sites such as Hill A1, De Castries bunker, Muong Phang, Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum, etc.

This is a meaningful activity, recognizing the valuable historical contributions of the first generation of cadres and artists of Vietnamese Revolutionary Cinema who participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign, writing heroic pages of the nation's history through images, contributing to the great victory of the Vietnamese revolution.
