Exploiting the potential and strengths of climate and land suitable for tea growing, the commune has closely coordinated with functional agencies to organize training courses and transfer tea production techniques in the direction of VietGAP, organic, ensuring food safety. The family of Ms. Luong Thi In, Lac Muong village, grows more than 1 hectare of tea, harvesting 5 crops/year, each crop earning about 25 million VND. Ms. In shared: The family has been growing tea since 1999, then gradually expanding the area. Thanks to the commune's support for participating in technical training courses, the family has applied organic tea growing and care, and has a contract with To Mua Tea Joint Stock Company to purchase products. Currently, the family regularly creates jobs for 3-4 laborers who are people in the village.
As for Mr. Ha Van Truong, also in Lac Muong village, after being promoted and encouraged by the local government, in 2011, his family combined growing corn and cassava with raising livestock, bringing high economic efficiency. Mr. Truong said: Currently, the family raises 9 horses, 6 sows and 4 cows, earning a profit of 60-80 million VND every year after deducting expenses. In addition, the family also uses livestock manure to fertilize crops, both saving costs and protecting the environment.
Determined to complete the income criteria and strive to achieve new rural standards by 2030, To Mua commune focuses on building and replicating effective economic models; establishing the cooperative group "Organic Clean Tea Production Group" in Pan Ngua village, helping people link production and consumption of products.
