In 2024, the work of connecting the consumption of agricultural, forestry, fishery and safe food products will continue to be effectively implemented by the agricultural sector in coordination with relevant sectors and localities, contributing to promoting the connection of production facilities with consumption facilities inside and outside the province. In the province, many supply chains and consumption of safe agricultural products and food have been formed; promoting Thai Binh agricultural products to other provinces and cities; contributing to improving the efficiency of agricultural production in the direction of goods, large scale, linked to the market and according to the value chain. Safe food supply chain models have been formed, replicated, increasing all 3 criteria of the number of chains, the number of products controlled by the chain and the number of stores selling safe food. To date, the whole province has 23 safe food supply chains, an increase of 2 chains compared to 2023; Over 500 establishments, enterprises, and cooperatives processing and trading agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products have been granted certificates of eligibility for food safety. The area of cultivation, aquaculture, and the number of livestock establishments certified for good agricultural practices and equivalents has increased by more than 10% compared to 2023. The number of establishments granted certificates of eligibility for food safety is 169, reaching a rate of 92.3%.
At the conference, delegates were trained on building product brands and current e-commerce market trends. At the same time, they exchanged and shared experiences in improving product quality and image; transaction methods, and conditions for Thai Binh agricultural products to be consumed in distribution systems nationwide. The organizing committee and units and enterprises also answered questions from production and business establishments about related legal procedures in connecting production and consumption of agricultural, forestry and fishery products.
