The whole province has 2 more new rural communes and 5 advanced new rural communes.

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 627 signed by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai recognizing 2 communes meeting new rural standards and 5 communes meeting advanced new rural standards in 2023.

Specifically, two communes meeting new rural standards are Dong Tien (Ham Thuan Bac), Tan Lap (Ham Thuan Nam); five communes including Ham Cuong (Ham Thuan Nam); and Dong Ha, Duc Hanh, Me Pu, Tan Ha (Duc Linh) communes meeting advanced new rural standards.

New rural communes and advanced new rural communes focus on developing production associated with product consumption.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the People's Committees of Ham Thuan Bac, Ham Thuan Nam, and Duc Linh districts to organize the announcement of communes meeting new rural and advanced new rural standards according to regulations, ensuring solemnity, thrift, and no ostentation.

Thus, up to this point, the whole province has 74/93 new rural communes and 6 communes meeting advanced new rural standards.
