Initial information is known, due to heavy rain on the afternoon of October 8, by the early morning of October 9, water from rivers and canals in Muong Man and Ham Thanh communes, Ham Thuan Nam district rose. Especially in the spillway area behind Muong Man market, in Dai Thanh village, Muong Man commune, the rising water caused many dragon fruit gardens to be flooded to the top. Many houses were also flooded, affecting daily life.

Heavy rain caused flooding in many places.

A local resident said that heavy rains caused water to rise and flood his house around 10 p.m. on October 8, forcing his family to move to another place to ensure safety. The dragon fruit garden that had just been sprayed with pesticides was flooded, causing certain damage.
At the same time, the Suoi Thi bridge area in Dan Thuan village, Ham Thanh commune, was also flooded by water from the stream, inundating many dragon fruit gardens. Currently, local authorities and people are urgently overcoming the natural disaster and calculating the damage. Binh Thuan Newspaper will continue to report.

Previously, according to the Provincial Hydrometeorological Station, currently   Binh Thuan area has scattered showers and thunderstorms. Mountainous areas have moderate to heavy rain, with intermittent sunshine.
