Agree and determine to turn Dai Phuc commune into a ward

Dai Phuc commune has great potential for tourism and services and is identified by Thai Nguyen province as a growth pole in the West, a tourist center and a new urban area. The Resolution of the Commune Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term defines the important goal of building Dai Phuc into a ward before 2030. This is a goal throughout the term, carrying the expectation of a breakthrough for a new and promising land.

Immediately after the 1st Party Congress of the Commune, term 2025-2030, the Commune Party Committee led the development of a program and plan to concretize each target of the Congress Resolution. Each target clearly defines the roadmap, tasks, advisory body and responsible person.

The locality attaches special importance to mobilizing and effectively using investment resources to develop urban infrastructure, transportation, and tourism ; exploiting the potential of Nui Coc Lake and developing key products such as tea trees. These are strategic breakthroughs that create growth momentum in the new period.

The Commune Party Committee focuses on disseminating the Resolution and Action Program to each Party Committee, cadre and Party member. All must grasp the goals, targets and key tasks to unify will and determination, creating real changes from awareness to action throughout the entire political system. This is a consistent requirement to ensure the Resolution is implemented in life.

Comrade Nguyen Nam Tien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Dai Phuc Commune Party Committee, said: The Party Committee clearly assigns tasks to each comrade in the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee in charge of the area and field; regularly inspects, urges, evaluates progress and promptly resolves difficulties for the grassroots. Inspection and supervision are key steps to ensure consistency, seriousness and effectiveness in implementing the Resolution.

On the basis of organization, assignment and close supervision, the locality focuses on prioritizing the development of key economic sectors, in which tea is the main product associated with tourism potential.

Tea continues to be the main crop, linked with the development of experiential tourism in Dai Phuc commune.

Dai Phuc commune currently has over 1,260 hectares of tea, with stable output, and is a key industry prioritized for development associated with eco-tourism and tea culture experiences. The locality is expanding specialized cultivation areas, applying high technology, and digital transformation in production; gradually making Dai Phuc tea a key product associated with the tourism brand of Nui Coc lake.

Ms. Tong Thi Kim Thoa, Director of Kim Thoa Tea Cooperative, shared: Since the two-level local government model came into operation, administrative procedures have been resolved more quickly. The local government always accompanies businesses, paying attention to improving the quality and value of tea trees. When the province issues resolutions on tea development, the Cooperative hopes to be supported in building a product display point when the Bac Son tourist route is completed, in order to promote tea products to tourists.

Along with agricultural development, the locality also focuses on attracting investment and implementing important infrastructure projects to create a driving force for comprehensive growth. In Dai Phuc commune, there are currently 12 projects within and outside the budget, with a total capital of more than VND 5,370 billion, including golf courses, hotels, resorts, and commercial centers.

In addition, 5 urban residential projects are being implemented with a total investment of more than 3,700 billion VND. The locality attaches special importance to administrative reform and digital transformation in government activities, striving to have 100% of work records processed in the digital environment by 2030, serving people and businesses.

To make Dai Phuc a ward before 2030, the commune is proposing that the province pay attention to directing the acceleration of the progress of 3 key projects including: the Bac Son - Nui Coc Lake connection route, the Nui Coc Lake road and the two-bank canal route connecting the Hanoi - Thai Nguyen Expressway. At the same time, it is proposed to add Dai Phuc to the Urban Development Program, adjust the planning of the 10ha straight airport, approve the general planning and invest in a new administrative center.

The locality proposed that the Provincial People's Committee submit to the Ministry of Construction and the Prime Minister to recognize Dai Phuc as a type IV urban area in the 2021-2030 period, and at the same time, the Provincial Party Standing Committee issue a specialized resolution on developing communes into wards.

Comrade Nguyen Nam Tien affirmed: As the local leader, I pledge to unite with the Party Committee Standing Committee and the Executive Committee, with the spirit of "Overcoming the sun, overcoming the rain", "Working during the day is not enough, working at night", to lead and direct the entire political system, cadres, civil servants and party members to strive to complete the goal of becoming a ward before 2030, meeting the expectations of the Party Committee and people of Dai Phuc commune.
