The effectiveness of women's emulation movements

Responding to the “Clean Sunday” associated with the movement to build a “5 no, 3 clean” family, the 250m long flower street of the Women’s Union of Village 1A Thong Nhat, Yen Phu Commune is always meticulously cared for and neat. During the launching sessions, members simultaneously sweep, collect garbage, prune branches, plant additional flowers along the fence and remove “black spots” of garbage, building a bright - green - clean - beautiful landscape.

Leaders of the Provincial Women's Union presented gifts and visited members affected by the flood.

Comrade Ly Thi Thu, President of the Women's Union of Yen Phu commune, shared: The propaganda is always associated with direct support for each household, which has created a clear change in the awareness and actions of many members. In particular, for the movement to build "5 no, 3 clean" families, every year, 100% of the branches register to implement 8 criteria; each branch supports at least 2 member households to meet the standards. Thanks to that, by the end of November 2025, the whole commune had 1,356/1,621 households (reaching 83.6%) completing all 8 criteria of the movement.

In Vi Xuyen commune, with more than 65% of female workers involved in agricultural and forestry production, many members have boldly transformed the structure of crops and livestock, applied technical advances, and formed comprehensive economic models such as: Forest gardens, commercial pig farming, safe vegetable growing, flower growing, melon growing in greenhouses, etc.

Comrade Vi Hong Hanh, President of the Women's Union of Vi Xuyen commune, said: To attract members to participate, first of all, it is necessary to bring practical benefits, help increase income or improve life. Therefore, the Union always promotes the role of cadres in villages, especially prestigious people and ethnic minority women.

Following the Central Women's Union's movement "Building Vietnamese women of the new era", the Provincial Women's Union has concretized it into specific movements. In the period of 2020 - 2025, the whole province had 1,478 collectives and 5,247 individuals recognized and rewarded; the Provincial Women's Union alone organized a conference of advanced models, honoring 44 collectives and 65 outstanding individuals. Currently, the whole province has 1,111 enterprises owned by women; 548 groups of "Women linking economic development" are maintained effectively, this is the premise to help 59 cooperatives owned by women have OCOP products with 3 stars or higher, contributing to affirming the quality and brand of local products.

Comrade Trieu Thi Tinh, Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union, said: The achieved results have shown the clear effectiveness of emulation movements in arousing women's will to rise up, creativity and sense of responsibility.
