Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Phap, Chairman of the People's Committee of Krong Bong Commune, said that the flood in the area has begun to recede, but water is flowing into the villages downstream of the Krong Bong River, in Krong Bong Commune. Therefore, the functional forces of the commune are closely monitoring the situation, ready to evacuate some households in areas at risk of flooding.

On the same day, Mr. Vo Tan Truc, Chairman of the People's Committee of Yang Mao Commune, Dak Lak Province, said that many areas are still isolated due to damaged bridges. Authorities have reached 8 people trapped in their fields due to floods. During the time they were trapped due to floods, all eight people had food and good health.

Previously, from November 16 to 17, in Dak Lak province, there was heavy and very heavy rain, floodwaters caused inundation, causing many households in the communes of Cu Pui, Krong Bong, Yang Mao, Duc Binh, Song Hinh... to be isolated, due to traffic routes being cut off.
According to preliminary statistics from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Dak Lak province, the floods caused 7 houses in Yang Mao commune to collapse and be damaged; 192 houses were flooded. In addition, the floods damaged many roads and bridges in Duc Binh and Yang Mao communes.
