Live a closed life, rarely socialize with friends
As a guest on the show Confessions, actor Trung Dung shared his views on his career and revealed his simple life at the age of 50.

The actor said that he is a private person and always keeps himself safe and maintains his image to do his job. Right from the beginning of his acting career, Trung Dung determined that he would do his job until his last breath.
Because of his somewhat different personality, he always reminds himself to be good to be trusted and chosen by directors. The actor also chooses to work seriously and wholeheartedly.
“I am strict with my profession. When I am on set, I am a completely different person. When everyone is preparing for a new scene, I sit in one place to calm down and concentrate on my work. For me, when I am in front of the camera, I have to be really serious,” he said.
According to Trung Dung, the meticulousness he puts into each role comes from his love for the profession. The actor cited that he once felt humiliated and did not dare to watch the movie when his plump appearance appeared in the movie "Nu chu".
At that time, he was gaining weight to prepare for another project. “The audience doesn’t know why I gained weight. I told myself this was the last time I would be so “disgusting,” Trung Dung confided.
The actor admits that his instinct to live a closed life and not interact much with friends and colleagues also somewhat limits him in his career.
“During the 21 days of filming “Flip Side”, I did not drink a single drop of alcohol. Although my role was not heavy and I had time to rest. However, after my time on set, I went home to water the plants, cook, watch movies, and go to the gym. I wanted to go home and live my own life,” the 7x actor confided.
The actor often shares workout photos to maintain his figure in middle age.
Talking about his acting career, he admitted that sometimes he gets asked: "Does it hurt when people say your time is over?"
Trung Dung frankly said that acting is not limited by age. "Each person at each age has their own value. It cannot be said that the acting profession is outdated because they do not act in films, but when they appear, their aura is still there and brings good value," he said.
Looking back on his time in the arts, Trung Dung is satisfied with what he has accomplished. He is proud of his life experience and acting skills at the level he desires.
First heartbreak at 45
During the show, Trung Dung surprised the MC when he revealed that he had his first broken heart at the age of 45. The actor said that when he was in that state, his heart ached so much that it "wanted to jump out of his chest."

“At 45, my life turned upside down overnight. I wondered if I had a heart attack or if I was going to die. I told myself that heartbreak doesn’t kill me, but it hurt so much. I never want to feel that way again.
Then they came back. When they left, I said: 'You are still young, just choose a good parking place for yourself. When they are not good to you anymore, you can come back.' When they really came back, I still forgave them," he recounted.
These experiences have given him many new and emotional things in his acting. Thanks to that, he is loved by the audience and brings tears to their eyes.
Sharing about his current private life, Trung Dung said: “For example, if you give me 10 dong and make me work from morning to night, I will only take 5 dong to have time to go to the gym, go to the supermarket to buy food, watch a movie at night and go to bed to go to work tomorrow. That is my life, that is enough.
Many people may not believe it, but sometimes there are crazy people like that. I still like to live in a mansion and drive a supercar, but I don't want to work myself to the point of 'killing myself'.
