The statue of President Ho Chi Minh is located in a 676m2 square with 3 landings and 8 wide steps symbolizing 8 lotus petals. The statue is made of bronze, 5m high, and placed on a 6m long, 0.5m thick bronze pedestal. The base below the statue solemnly inscribes President Ho Chi Minh's quote in Russian: "Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom."
This is a familiar place for Vietnamese people in the Russian Federation on holidays, Tet, festivals or family happy days. Vietnamese expatriates in the Russian Federation often come here to lay flowers in front of the statue of President Ho Chi Minh.
