On the morning of August 16, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Public Security solemnly held the inauguration ceremony of the Ministry of Public Security Headquarters, No. 96 Nguyen Du, Cua Nam Ward, Hanoi City.

General Secretary To Lam, Minister Luong Tam Quang and delegates performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the Ministry of Public Security Headquarters.

After nearly 18 months of construction, the project was completed and put into use, ensuring spacious, standardized, modern facilities, effectively serving the work of the People's Public Security force.

The project to build the Ministry of Public Security Headquarters is a key project, typical of the process of modernizing the Ministry of Public Security's facilities in the spirit of Resolution No. 12 of the Politburo ; the foundation was laid by General Secretary To Lam from the first steps and throughout the implementation process.

The project is equipped with synchronous, advanced and modern equipment, fully meeting and having room for the needs of the activities of the Ministry of Public Security.

At the ceremony, General Secretary To Lam, Minister Luong Tam Quang and other leaders and former leaders of the Party and State cut the ribbon to inaugurate the Ministry of Public Security Headquarters and planted souvenir trees in the headquarters grounds.
