According to the special correspondent of the Vietnam News Agency, within the framework of the official visit to Finland by General Secretary To Lam and his wife and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, on the evening of October 21 (local time), at the University of Helsinki, the Vietnamese Embassy in Finland and the City of Helsinki (Finland) coordinated to organize a special concert program.

Attending the Program, on the Vietnamese side were: General Secretary To Lam and his wife and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation; on the Finnish side were: Mr. Daniel Sazonov, Mayor of Helsinki City; Ms. Sari Essayah, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry; along with many Finnish friends and the Vietnamese community in Finland.

Speaking at the Program, Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Binh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Finland expressed her honor and deep emotion in welcoming the distinguished guests to the special concert on the occasion of the official visit of General Secretary To Lam and his wife and the high-ranking delegation to the Republic of Finland.

Ambassador Pham Thi Thanh Binh emphasized that over the past 50 years of establishing diplomatic relations, Vietnam and Finland have written a very special story of cooperation together - from development aid relations, the two countries have transformed into equal partners, together moving towards a green, innovative and creative future.

Notably, after the talks, the two leaders of Vietnam and Finland issued a Joint Statement upgrading the Vietnam-Finland relationship to a Strategic Partnership. This is a breakthrough development, opening up a framework for deeper, more trustworthy and comprehensive cooperation, more than ever before, demonstrating strong political trust and a shared vision towards peace, prosperity and sustainable development.

Music is always the language of peace, of soul harmony that transcends all boundaries. The program is a wonderful combination between People's Artist Bui Cong Duy of Vietnam and Helsinki Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra of Finland. This is a beautiful symbol of friendship, cultural exchange and the harmony between two musics - two national souls.

Music, like the Vietnam-Finland friendship, is a strong bond that connects people, overcoming differences to strive for beauty, goodness and humanistic values.

An emotional evening filled with music, friendship and belief in a bright future of Vietnam-Finland relations, the concert was not only a welcome to the official visit of General Secretary To Lam and his wife and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation to Finland, but also a special cultural event celebrating a new development in Vietnam-Finland bilateral relations, opening a new chapter of promising cooperation./.
