The General Department of Politics inspected the work at the Military Command of Ca Mau province.

In the first 6 months of 2023, the Party Committee, the Provincial Military Command and Party committees and commanders at all levels have thoroughly grasped and seriously and fully implemented the resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission on Party building work and local military and defense work, focusing on Resolution No. 847 dated December 28, 2021 of the Central Military Commission on promoting the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, resolutely fighting individualism in the new situation.

Political education and dissemination of legal education for the subjects are always innovated; officers and soldiers have a strong political stance and are well determined in their assigned tasks. Up to now, agencies and units in the provincial armed forces have organized political education and dissemination of legal education for the regular forces, achieving 100% of the plan; 100% of political education inspections for new soldiers have met the requirements; of which the good and excellent rate is over 81.5%; the reserve mobilization force is 9.62%, the militia and self-defense force is 72.44%.

Strictly maintain the principles, order, and regime of Party activities, do a good job of managing, educating, training, and nurturing new Party members. In the first 6 months of the year, 7 Party members were admitted (reaching 70% of the 2023 resolution target). The Steering Committee of 35 Military Party Committees and "Force 47" effectively fought and refuted the distorted arguments of opportunistic political elements on cyberspace. Thereby, defeating the plots and tricks of hostile forces, promptly orienting public opinion and the ideology of cadres and soldiers.

In addition, party and political activities in the tasks, focusing on training, combat readiness, building discipline, enforcing discipline and recruiting citizens for military service, are carried out strictly and with quality. Cultural institutions in the unit are effectively promoted, ensuring a good spiritual life for officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces.

Concluding the inspection, Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics, acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the Party Committee and Military Command of Ca Mau province in the first 6 months of 2023. In particular, the outstanding work was the staff work, proposals to local Party committees and authorities, leadership, direction, propaganda, education and military rear policy work and mass mobilization work.

In carrying out tasks in the coming time, the Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics requested the Party Committee, the Provincial Military Command and Party committees and commanders at all levels to concretize the resolutions of the Party at all levels into implementing tasks; grasp the local situation, promptly advise and propose to Party committees and authorities to effectively handle defense situations, and avoid being surprised.

Maintain strict combat readiness shifts and teams, organize strict, serious training close to the area, improve combat readiness; innovate the content, form and method of political and ideological education for officers and soldiers; be ready to receive and excellently complete assigned tasks. Focus on building clean and strong Party committees and organizations, exemplary and comprehensively strong units; perform well the work of management, education, training and nurturing and developing Party members, while improving the quality of inspection and supervision work.
