Petrolimex General Director Dao Nam Hai was temporarily suspended from his position.

The Ministry of Finance has just issued a decision to temporarily suspend the position of representative of state capital at the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) for Mr. Dao Nam Hai, member of the Board of Directors and General Director. The suspension period is until the conclusion of the competent authority.

The Ministry of Finance also temporarily assigned the representative of the state capital portion held by Mr. Dao Nam Hai according to Decision No. 45 dated January 28, 2022 of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises to Mr. Pham Van Thanh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petrolimex . The decision takes effect from the date of signing on May 6.

Mr. Dao Nam Hai (51 years old), has a master's degree in economic law, a bachelor's degree in business administration from National Economics University and a master's degree in business administration from Hanoi National University.

Mr. Dao Nam Hai has held many key positions in Petrolimex member units such as: Member of the Board of Directors of Petrolimex Construction Group Joint Stock Company 1, member of the Board of Directors of Vietnam National Reinsurance Corporation.

He was also a member of the Board of Directors and General Director of Petrolimex Insurance Corporation (PJICO) for 8 years, from 2014 to 2022, before becoming General Director of Petrolimex from March 2022.
