Saigon University will be reorganized by merging with Ba Ria - Vung Tau Pedagogical College due to the same main training field of pedagogy. The name Saigon University will be kept the same.

The city will reorganize colleges and intermediate schools except for 5 units: Vietnam - Singapore College, Vietnam - Korea Binh Duong College, Ba Ria - Vung Tau College of Technology, Thu Duc College of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City College of Architecture and Construction. In particular, the Semi-Public College of Technology and Business Administration will be converted from a semi-public type to a financially autonomous public school.

In addition, the City plans to establish two schools: Saigontourist College of Tourism and Hotel Management (upgraded from Saigontourist College of Tourism and Hotel Management) and Ho Chi Minh City College of High-Tech Agriculture (merging two Ho Chi Minh City College of Agricultural Technology, College of Agriculture and Forestry and Center for Vocational Education of High-Tech Agriculture).

After the reorganization, Ho Chi Minh City has 19 colleges, no more public schools. Public secondary schools, primary schools, kindergartens or inter-level schools are basically kept as they are now to serve the needs of the people and students, according to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Therefore, the Department of Health proposed to use these 2 real estate facilities to prioritize the construction of specialized hospitals in the fields of Oncology and Obstetrics. These are two specialties that for many years, the health sector of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province (old) has still encountered many difficulties in human resources, so it has not been able to effectively implement.

The Department of Health proposed that the City leaders approve the policy for specialized hospitals at the end of the line in obstetrics and gynecology (including Tu Du Hospital or Hung Vuong Hospital) to deploy a second facility at Le Loi Hospital (old, address 22 Le Loi Street, Vung Tau Ward) and the Oncology Hospital to deploy a third facility at Ba Ria Hospital (old, address 13 Pham Ngoc Thach Ward, Ba Ria Ward).

In 2025, the Center will continue to organize bidding for the remaining 18 bus routes. Accordingly, the Department has approved the policy of installing electric car charging stations within the protection area of ​​road traffic infrastructure at locations where temporary use of roadways for paid car parking is being carried out according to Resolution No. 01/2018/NQ-HDND of the City People's Council.

The Department of Construction specifically noted that V-Green Company needs to study the plan to install charging posts and related equipment integrated into existing public lighting posts. This solution is proposed to minimize sidewalk encroachment and avoid affecting the business and production activities of organizations and individuals along the route. The collection of parking fees at these locations will still be carried out by Thanh Nien Xung Phong Public Service Company Limited.

In the immediate future, three locations for installing electric car charging stations and underground parking lots include: Huyen Tran Cong Chua Street (from in front of tree number 77 to number 71, Ben Thanh Ward) will install 3 charging stations and arrange 6 underground parking lots; Khanh Hoi Park area (Vinh Hoi Ward) will install at 2 locations on the left and right of the Water Music Fountain, each location will install 6 charging stations and arrange 12 underground parking lots.
