According to the report at the conference, the exams in the 2024-2025 school year, especially the 2024 high school graduation exam, took place seriously, honestly, objectively, and fairly, and were highly appreciated by the Ministry of Education and Training , the Provincial People's Committee, and public opinion.

In the 2024 high school graduation exam, 9,210 candidates passed the graduation exam, reaching a rate of 99.60% compared to the total number of candidates taking the exam (0.27% higher than in 2023). The average score of Ha Nam candidates reached 7.056, ranking in the top 10 highest provinces and cities nationwide.

Regarding the provincial-level excellent student competition for the 2024-2025 school year, 1,612 candidates won prizes, including 76 first prizes, 336 second prizes, 528 third prizes and 672 consolation prizes. In the national high school excellent student competition for the 2024-2025 school year, 63/100 participating candidates won prizes, including 9 second prizes, 24 third prizes and 30 consolation prizes. Ha Nam has 1 candidate participating in the Abu Rayhan Biruni International Chemistry Olympiad held in Uzbekistan in 2025, scheduled to take place from May 28 to June 4. In the national science and technology competition for high school students for the 2024-2025 school year, 1 project won the second prize, 1 project won the third prize, and 1 project won the Promising prize.

In the 10th grade entrance exam, 354 candidates passed the entrance exam to 10 specialized classes of Bien Hoa High School for the Gifted; 7,606 candidates passed the entrance exam to 10th grade of high schools.

Promoting the achieved results, the education sector and departments, branches and localities in the province are determined to organize the 2025 high school graduation exam and the exams for the 2025-2026 school year safely, seriously, honestly, objectively and fairly; striving to achieve high results, accurately reflecting the quality of teaching and learning.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tran Xuan Duong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for the 10th grade entrance exam and the 2025 high school graduation exam of the province highly appreciated the important results that the provincial education sector achieved in the 2024 exams. As the standing agency of the Steering Committee for the exams, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Education and Training to preside over and coordinate with departments, branches, and localities to guide and urge the preparation and organization of the 2025 high school graduation exam and the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year safely, seriously, with quality, and in accordance with regulations.

Directing the organization of effective review for students in grades 9 and 12, suitable for each student group; developing and implementing plans, fully and promptly preparing conditions to organize the exam in accordance with regulations and in accordance with the reality of the province. Reviewing and fully preparing facilities, machinery and equipment at the examination and grading councils. Focusing on training on regulations and exam procedures for officials, teachers and candidates.

The provincial police proactively develop plans and deploy measures to ensure security and safety for the exam in accordance with the direction and guidance of the Government, the Ministry of Public Security and relevant ministries and branches. Disseminate and provide training on ensuring security and safety for the exam; proactively grasp the situation, prevent, detect and strictly handle violations of related laws, especially the purchase and use of high-tech equipment to cheat during the exam.

The Department of Health directs and guides the preparation of timely and effective health care conditions for candidates, officials and teachers participating in the exam; strengthens the assurance of environmental hygiene and food safety in the province, during the exam and around the exam locations.

The People's Committees of districts, towns and cities direct departments, branches, organizations and educational institutions to review, develop plans and mobilize necessary forces to ensure traffic safety, security and order, food safety, disease prevention and control, and create the most favorable conditions for candidates, officials and teachers to participate in the exam.

The conference also announced the Decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on the establishment of the Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam in Ha Nam province and the Steering Committee for 10th grade high school enrollment in the 2025-2026 school year in Ha Nam province.
