Hungarian President Sulyok Tamás and his wife Nagy Zsuzsanna arrived in Hanoi tonight, starting an official visit to Vietnam from May 27 to 29 at the invitation of President Luong Cuong.

Accompanying President Sulyok Tamas were: Mr. Tibor Baloghdi, Hungarian Ambassador to Vietnam; Mr. Timár István Szilveszter, Head of the Presidential Office; Mr. Windisch István, Head of the Presidential Office; Mr. Király András László, Chief Advisor to the President; Ms. Kereszty Gabriella, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Department.

After moving from the airport to the Metropole Hotel, President Sulyok Tamás and his wife Nagy Zsuzsanna had interesting experiences on their first night in the capital.

In the cool weather mixed with a little light rain, the Hungarian President and his wife wore simple clothes and sneakers , leisurely walking on the streets: Ly Thai To - Le Phung Hieu - Ngo Quyen - Le Thach - Dinh Tien Hoang - Trang Tien.

At each stop, the Hungarian leader stayed for quite a while to admire the scenery and learn about historical relics and typical works such as the King Ly Thai To monument, Turtle Tower - Hoan Kiem Lake, Hoa Phong Tower...

Some Vietnamese people recognized the delegation and waved, and both the President and First Lady waved back in a friendly manner.
