National Border Committee organizes Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the National Border Committee Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term and elected a delegation to attend the 29th Congress of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Party Committee.

On June 2, the Party Committee of the National Border Committee ( Ministry of Foreign Affairs ) solemnly held the Congress for the 2025-2030 term. The Congress has the task of summarizing and evaluating the implementation of the Resolution of the Congress for the 2020-2025 term; determining the directions, goals, and tasks for the new term; electing the new Party Executive Committee and electing the Delegation to attend the 29th Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Congress is organized in accordance with the spirit of Directive No. 45-CT/TW dated April 14, 2024 of the Politburo on Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; Plan No. 30-KH/DUB dated August 30, 2024 of the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ensuring strictness, democracy, principles, promoting intelligence, responsibility and high solidarity.

Attending the National Border Committee Party Congress were comrade Nguyen Minh Vu, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Permanent Deputy Minister; comrade Nguyen Chi Hieu, member of the Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Organization Board of the Ministry's Party Committee and representatives of a number of Party Committees and Party cells under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

At the Congress, delegates discussed and contributed opinions on the Political Report and Review Report of the Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term, and at the same time gave opinions on draft documents submitted to the 29th Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the 14th National Congress of the Party.

The opinions expressed were profound and comprehensive, demonstrating the sense of responsibility, intelligence and enthusiasm of cadres and party members, focusing on major orientations on border and territorial work in the new situation, contributing to improving the effectiveness of foreign affairs, consolidating the legal and practical foundation in border management, preserving territorial integrity and protecting national interests.

Speaking at the Congress, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Vu acknowledged and highly appreciated the comprehensive results that the Party Committee of the National Border Committee has achieved in the past term.

In the context of the international and regional situation continuing to have complex and unpredictable developments, the foreign affairs work of our Party and State continues to achieve many outstanding and comprehensive achievements. In that common success, border and territorial work has made an important contribution, contributing to maintaining a peaceful and stable environment, serving the country's development in the strong development of the nation.

In particular, the Party Committee of the National Border Committee has seriously grasped and implemented Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the Central Committee on continuing to innovate and reorganize the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently. The reorganization and consolidation of the organization have been carried out resolutely and synchronously, ensuring continuity, stability, and continuity, without interruption of work.
