Ha Tinh City mobilized more than 11.6 billion VND to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

(Baohatinh.vn) - Ha Tinh City has mobilized 11,603 billion VND from socialized sources to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor, near-poor households and policy families.

Implementing the movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" of the Prime Minister, the Party Committee and the government of Ha Tinh City have resolutely taken action to review the subjects, speed up the progress of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the area. At the same time, calling for support and assistance from organizations, individuals, businesses and the whole society to create community strength to join hands to build and repair new houses for poor households, near-poor households and policy families.

Viet Hai Trading and Transport Services Company Limited supported 50 tons of cement to implement the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in Ha Tinh City.

With the spirit of "everyone contributes", up to now, the whole city has mobilized 11,603 billion VND to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for people. Of which, the city level mobilized 1,751 billion VND; communes and wards mobilized 694 million VND from the fund for the poor; mobilized 1,035 billion VND from individuals, organizations and enterprises; mobilized resources from families and clans for 8,123 billion VND.

In addition to cash, the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses of the City and localities also mobilized 203 tons of cement, 28,500 bricks and 5,083 working days to support families in building and repairing permanent houses.

Many localities have implemented creative and effective ways to increase social resources to implement the program, such as: Tran Phu ward mobilized nearly 160 million VND; Tan Giang ward took responsibility for the housing project of Mr. Pham Van Manh's family (born in 1972) in TDP 3, who has a neurological - mental illness, is a poor single-parent household, and at the same time coordinated with the Department of Education and Training to mobilize contributions of more than 100 million VND to support the family to complete the construction of a new house...

Recently, many businesses and organizations have also contributed large amounts of funds and provided additional materials to join hands with the government to improve the quality of projects such as: Ha Tinh City Business Association (140 million VND), TTH Ha Tinh General Hospital (140 million VND), Viet Hai Transport Service and Trading Company Limited (50 tons of cement), Hoanh Son Group (30 tons of cement), An Viet Construction and Service Trading Joint Stock Company supported 20,000 bricks...

The city has built and repaired houses for 184 households, including 121 houses for poor and near-poor households, and 63 houses for meritorious people (105 newly built houses; 79 repaired houses). By April 11, 2025, 57 houses had been completed, including: 7 newly built houses (3 poor households, 3 near-poor households and 1 house of a meritorious family); 50 repaired houses (13 poor households, 16 near-poor households, 21 houses of meritorious people). The city is determined that 100% of newly built and repaired houses in the program will be completed before May 19, 2025.

It is known that, in addition to the subjects of the Government 's program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, the city is also interested in reviewing and supporting subjects in difficulty to repair and build houses. Up to this point, the city has supported 15 new houses and repairs with a total amount of 353 million VND.
