According to Mr. Nguyen Toan Thang, Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City, from 2005 to now, the city has submitted for recognition and granted more than 802 pink books to religious organizations, with an area of more than 2 million square meters.
Despite many efforts, Mr. Nguyen Toan Thang admitted that there are still certain limitations in the work of granting pink books, including pink books for religious organizations. In fact, the specificity of this work is the origin and legality of land, each plot of land, each facility through stages and periods, which need to be carefully studied and coordinated between relevant agencies and units, to apply the law correctly.
In the coming time, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City will promote the issuance of pink books for religious organizations. To do this, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City also hopes that religious organizations, People's Committees of districts, Thu Duc City, the Religious Affairs Committee and related departments will coordinate and support in providing legal documents, reviewing and giving opinions on related issues in a timely manner, to best carry out this work. Religious organizations proactively declare and register land to be recognized and granted pink books according to the Land Law.
Mr. Nguyen Toan Thang presented pink books to representatives of religious establishments in Ho Chi Minh City.
Mr. Nguyen Toan Thang also requested that the People's Committees of districts and towns should make a list of religious organizations and organizations that have not been granted pink books. Guide religious organizations to declare and register land to be recognized and granted pink books. Coordinate with the People's Committees of wards and communes to review the current status of land use, report the origin, land use management, etc. Based on the list of religious establishments using land provided by the People's Committees of districts and towns, they will give opinions on the recognition and granting of pink books according to regulations.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Tan, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs and Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Religious Affairs Committee, said that the city is very interested in the work of granting pink books to religious establishments. Currently, the city has a working group to monitor this work, to ensure that the work of granting pink books to religious establishments is smooth and in accordance with the law.
It is known that, up to now, Ho Chi Minh City has issued more than 113,000 pink books for commercial housing projects in the area. Currently, Ho Chi Minh City is implementing a plan of 7 groups of solutions to resolve more than 78,000 pink books that are still stuck in legal issues, confirmation of financial obligations, businesses that are slow to submit documents to issue pink books...
