Joining the exciting atmosphere of competing to achieve achievements to welcome the 1st Congress of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025-2030 and the 14th National Congress of the Party, Ho Chi Minh City organized the Week "Healthy to build and protect the Fatherland" Responding to the Campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" in 2025.

The program aims to encourage the masses to participate in physical exercise and sports in response to the Campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", the movement "Healthy to start a career and defend the country" throughout the country, contributing to improving health to serve study, work, production, construction and defense of the Fatherland.

Creating for Ho Chi Minh City sports to reach new heights
The program is organized with the spirit of saving, the purpose of the program is to interact with people, so that people can participate and introduce sports to spread the spirit of sports training.
At the Opening Ceremony, the Program Organizing Committee mobilized 300 million VND to give to the Ho Chi Minh City Sports Talent Support Fund, and 500 million VND to the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to support people affected by storms and floods.

Also at the Opening Ceremony, there were performances of martial arts, Cheerleading, Aerobics, artistic gymnastics, etc.


Along with that are art performances, exchanges with excellent athletes, sports performances such as volleyball, shooting, Teqball, chess, Go, Vovinam, traditional martial arts, shuttlecock kicking,...

In addition, the program also has an area for performing unique traditional musical instruments, combined with traditional music exchange activities for domestic and foreign audiences.
The aim is to spread cultural values, spirit and national pride through music. The programs introduce typical and unique musical instruments of Vietnam - representing the Vietnamese soul, Vietnamese identity, and culture of 54 ethnic groups.

These are not only performances, but also an opportunity to bring folk music closer to the public and educational environment, helping students gain more understanding and pride in the length of history and national culture.
