The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just sent a document to departments, branches, districts, and state-owned enterprises and economic organizations under the management of Ho Chi Minh City on coordinating recruitment and connecting job support for cadres, civil servants, public employees, part-time workers and redundant workers due to the rearrangement of the apparatus and administrative units.

Accordingly, the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee requested state-owned enterprises and economic organizations to review recruitment needs, information on quantity, requirements, and positions to be recruited (if any) and send them to the Department of Home Affairs and departments, branches, and localities to inform redundant personnel who need to continue working at state-owned enterprises and economic organizations.
Thu Duc City People's Committee and districts urgently inform, proactively connect to introduce jobs and make a list of personnel in need of job introduction.
The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee assigned the Department of Home Affairs to take the lead in guiding units and localities in implementation. At the same time, the organization will support connection and job referrals for staff to continue working after the reorganization to effectively exploit the city's resources.
Regarding this issue, yesterday afternoon (June 5), at a press conference on the socio-economic situation of Ho Chi Minh City, Ms. Luong Thi Toi, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs, said that Ho Chi Minh City is surveying the needs for job search, vocational training support, and loans of cadres, civil servants, public employees, part-time workers, and redundant workers.
The Department of Home Affairs has also worked with departments and branches to collect opinions to complete mechanisms and policies to support redundant staff, including loan support.
“The view is to expand the subjects and extend the loan period to reduce pressure on workers, helping those who no longer work in state agencies to have the conditions to start a business, find a job to stabilize their lives,” said the leader of the Department of Home Affairs.
