Ho Chi Minh City honors exemplary party members who are workers

76 party members who are workers and union officials at enterprises with many outstanding achievements were honored by the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation on February 3.

The Exemplary Party Member Program is an annual activity of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, honoring workers who are Party members working at enterprises. This year, the program with the theme of Workers of Uncle Ho City, Firmly Confident in Continuing the Path was held on the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024).

According to Mr. Phung Thai Quang, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, 76 exemplary party members were recognized as grassroots union officials and direct production workers admitted in the 2021-2023 period.

Those who are honored have outstanding maturity in political training, good expertise, and contribute to the production and business development of the enterprise.

A typical example is party member Tran Van Hoa, a worker at Sonion Vietnam Co., Ltd., Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park, who has successfully promoted his role as production manager at the company; he won the Ton Duc Thang award for his many achievements in labor and creativity.

Party member Phan Minh Phat, a machine maintenance worker at Son A Dong Joint Stock Company in District 8, always demonstrates a pioneering and exemplary spirit in work. He proactively repairs machines himself, helping the company save hundreds of millions of dong...

The leaders of the City Labor Federation said that the production emulation movements, along with many projects, products, initiatives, and technical improvements of the workers' team, contributed to the economic and social development of the city.
