Ho Chi Minh City established 3 special working groups to promote public investment disbursement

VTV.vn - Ho Chi Minh City established three special working groups to speed up the disbursement of public investment capital, striving to complete 100% of the capital plan for 2025.

Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just issued 3 decisions to establish Working Groups No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 on public investment disbursement, demonstrating the government's strong determination in removing obstacles and promoting the progress of key projects.

The working groups are responsible for conducting field inspections, directing and resolving problems right at the construction site following the motto "deciding on the spot, resolving on the spot", especially in site clearance and relocation of technical infrastructure. At the same time, urging departments, branches and commune-level People's Committees to quickly process investment and construction procedures to ensure disbursement progress.

Working Group No. 1, headed by Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Bui Xuan Cuong, inspected and supervised 102 wards and communes in the city. Deputy heads included Mr. Nguyen Toan Thang, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment; Mr. Vo Hoang Ngan, Director of the Department of Planning and Architecture; and Mr. Trinh Hoang Tuan Anh, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance.

Working Group No. 2 is headed by Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tho, in charge of 30 wards, communes and Con Dao special zone. Deputy heads include Mr. Nguyen Thai Sinh, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment; Mr. Vo Khanh Hung, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction; and Mr. Hoang Vu Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance.

Working Group No. 3 is headed by Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Bui Minh Thanh, in charge of 36 wards and communes. Deputy heads include Mr. Huynh Thanh Khiet, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction; Mr. Pham Xuan Ngoc, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment; and Mr. Lai Xuan Dat, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance.

The working groups have the right to work directly with relevant units, handle specific problems, and promptly report issues beyond their authority to the City People's Committee and the Chairman of the City People's Committee for consideration and decision.

According to the decision, the working groups will dissolve themselves after completing their tasks. The establishment of the three working groups is considered a drastic step to accelerate the disbursement of public investment capital, creating momentum for key projects, contributing to promoting socio -economic growth of Ho Chi Minh City in 2025.
