At the conference, officials and farmer members were informed by reporters about legal documents related to food safety of agricultural, forestry and fishery products; regulations and instructions of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on the appraisal and inspection process, and procedures for requesting a certificate of food production and trading establishments meeting food safety conditions.
In addition, officials and farmer members are also instructed on how to identify food, agricultural and food production processes, techniques for using pesticides, fertilizers, and safe animal feed; not to use banned substances in animal husbandry, cultivation, and food preservation.
