Thu Dau Mot City: More than 400 people participate in voluntary blood donation

(BDO) On June 2, the Red Cross Society of Hoa Phu Ward, Thu Dau Mot City coordinated with the Ward's Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee and the ward's departments, branches, and organizations to organize the 2023 Voluntary Blood Donation Festival.

The festival attracted more than 400 volunteers including officials, civil servants, union members, youth, armed forces, and workers from inside and outside the area.

Accordingly, the festival collected nearly 200 units of blood. These units of blood were transferred to medical units, hospitals... to support emergency care for patients when necessary.

This is a meaningful activity, demonstrating the spirit of "Donating blood to save lives, one drop of blood given, one life saved".
