Born in 1990 in Y Yen commune, Ninh Binh , Vu Thi Lan unfortunately had a congenital disability: small stature, hunchback, crooked legs, and an underdeveloped skeletal system. She had undergone 4 major surgeries to be able to wear shoes and move like her peers, but her childhood was still associated with months of treatment and interrupted studies.
Overcoming her circumstances, Lan graduated with honors in accounting from the Hanoi College of Economics and Technology. However, her poor health and unique appearance caused her to be unemployed for more than 10 years, closing herself off within four walls, living quietly and having little contact with the outside world.
The turning point for Lan came in early 2024, when she accidentally watched inspirational videos on social media and learned about Nguyen Duy Long's tailoring class in Hanoi. Determined to "repair" her life, she set out to learn the trade, spending more than 3 months diligently with each stitch.

Returning to her hometown, Lan opened a tailor shop right in her yard called “1m25 Tailor Shop”. Not only does she sew products for children and crochet cute animals, she also regularly livestreams to share positive energy on her personal page called “Lan khuyet”.
In the program “Love Station”, the appearance of teacher Nguyen Duy Long – a teacher who not only imparted his knowledge but also gave Lan the confidence to confidently press the camera to film her first clip, brought joyful and emotional moments.
Watching the show, the audience will accompany Lan through many emotions, with an impressive opening when Lan appeared on stage with beautiful dresses that she sewed herself and a "million-view" livestream right at the studio, or when she talked openly with MC Minh Hang about her childhood memories, 4 surgeries, unemployment, and the moment she found herself again.

The reportage “A Day at the 1m25 Tailor Shop” in the program will take the audience to a small but bustling workspace filled with laughter, where each product has its own story.
The program also opened up Lan’s future dream: to open a sewing workshop and teach vocational skills to women with disabilities or those in difficult circumstances, so that together they can find their own values and have stable jobs. The gift from “Love Station” will partly share the economic burden to help Vu Thi Lan realize her dream in the future.
Through that, the program sends the message: Even if life is flawed, as long as you keep trying, you can still sew together perfect things with your own hands.
