National costumes inspired by Quoc Co - Quoc Nghiep

LAM DONG - Miss Universe Vietnam contestants perform in costumes inspired by circus artists Quoc Co and Quoc Nghiep.

The National Costume competition took place on the evening of December 26. The Top 38 presented costumes by designers and students who had passed the previous selection round.

Contestant Quach Thi Le received loud cheers from the audience when she presented a design called "Quoc Co - Quoc Nghiep" inspired by two famous circus artists. They have achieved four Guinness World Records, most recently climbing 100 stairs in 53 seconds at the Cathedral in Girona (Spain). The Giang brothers made many people proud when they showed the image of Vietnamese people with will and determination.

The costume depicts two people with their heads facing each other, with a pair of wings as the frame. The design mainly uses silver material, depicting the image of a warrior. Many costumes at the competition night were invested in ideas and designs, surprising the audience.

Most of the costumes are inspired by history, folklore, and typical regional culture.

Contestant Ngo Bao Ngoc wore the "Phoenix Leaf" costume, transforming into Vietnam's first and only female champion - Mrs.   Nguyen Thi Due.

Beauty Bui Thi Xuan Hanh presents the design "Mother Stork", a metaphor for the image of hard-working Vietnamese women.

Design "Ho Xuan Huong" performed by contestant Phan Le Hoang An. The costume recreates the image of the famous poetess through many details such as the pen and crown.

Many costumes are inspired by regional cultures, using brocade materials and colorful patterns.

Many folk games were also brought into the competition night through designs such as "Blowing rice" and "I throw, I throw".

Some designs blend ethnic culture with futuristic inspiration.

However, many costumes are bulky and weigh tens of kilograms, making it difficult for contestants to move.

The organizing committee invested in a large stage, combining sound, light, and LED screens to create effects for the performance. The results of the National Costume competition will be announced in the finals on the evening of December 31 in Lam Dong .
