
According to Nguyen Kim Quy, Permanent Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, the 80 teachers honored this year are currently working in 248 communes, wards, border special zones, remote schools, schools in remote areas, border areas, and areas with difficult socio -economic conditions; and are officers and soldiers of the border guards who eradicate illiteracy, teach children and people in border areas and military areas.

The selected teachers have made many contributions to the education of local students; created remarkable changes in the quality and effectiveness of education; have a spirit of perseverance in overcoming difficulties, are dedicated to the cause of education, and are loved by the government, unit leaders, students, parents, and the community.
On this occasion, the Ministry of Education and Training awarded Certificates of Merit to 80 outstanding teachers for their outstanding contributions to the education and training of the younger generation. It is known that in the evening of the same day, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union will have a friendly meeting and present savings books (each book worth 10 million VND) to the above outstanding teachers.

“Sharing with teachers” is an annual program jointly organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, the Ministry of Education and Training, and Thien Long Group since 2015. After more than a decade of implementation, the program has honored 656 outstanding teachers across the country.
It is known that the 2025 program is the largest ever, with the commendation and recognition of 201 teachers from 248 border communes after the merger of the two-level government. Of these, 80 outstanding teachers will return to Hanoi to attend the "Sharing with Teachers" Commendation Ceremony in 2025.
