[Video] National Assembly passes Resolution on socio-economic development plan for 2026

On the morning of November 13, the 15th National Assembly voted to pass the Resolution on the socio-economic development plan for 2026, with 429/433 delegates in favor, accounting for 90.51%.

The resolution sets a target of GDP growth of 10% or more in 2026, GDP per capita of 5,400–5,500 USD, and CPI growth rate of about 4.5%. The Government will operate flexible fiscal and monetary policies, boost public investment, develop processing and manufacturing industries, promote tourism and the domestic market.
Along with economic development, the Resolution also emphasizes improving the quality of human resources, ensuring social security, caring for culture, health, education, and the environment. The Government commits to immediately deploying solutions after the Resolution is issued, creating a foundation for the 2026-2030 development period, towards a rich, civilized, prosperous, and happy country.
