Awarding ceremony of writing and drawing contest with the theme "I love my parents - People's Public Security soldiers"

The contest aims at the month of action for children and Vietnamese family day towards the 80th anniversary of the tradition of the People's Public Security force (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025).
The contest is also an opportunity for students to create paintings and write essays expressing their feelings about stories and memories of their families, expressing their deep, sincere feelings and love for their parents, and their happiness and pride in being born into a family with parents who are police officers.

The organizers awarded 15 prizes in 02 categories of 02 age groups to the winning children.

According to the jury's assessment, after 1 month of implementation (from February 7 to March 6, 2025), the contest attracted the enthusiastic participation and response of children of officers and soldiers in the entire Kien Giang provincial police force with 2 contents: writing and drawing, divided into 2 age groups: 6-15 years old and 16-18 years old. Many entries have creative ideas and profound meanings.

They have the ability to write and draw very well. Through the language of painting and literature, they have expressed their love for their homeland, their love for their family, especially their gratitude, pride and sympathy for the work of their parents - who are people's police officers.

After judging, the organizing committee selected and awarded 8 prizes in the drawing contest, including: 2 A prizes, 3 B prizes, 1 C prize and 2 consolation prizes and awarded 7 prizes in the writing contest, including: 2 A prizes, 2 B prizes, 1 C prize and 2 consolation prizes.

Speaking at the award ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Le Viet Tien - Chief Inspector of Kien Giang Provincial Police, member of the Jury, hoped that the contest would continue to be held regularly, becoming a healthy and useful playground for children of police officers and soldiers in the upcoming summer days, contributing to nurturing the talents and aptitudes of painting and poetry for children. At the same time, he hoped that this playground would be expanded more and more, attracting a large number of children of officers and soldiers to participate in the contest.
