On July 27, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (HCMC Labor Federation) organized the city-level Nguyen Duc Canh scholarship awarding program in 2025.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Thai Thu Xuong, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, said that the Nguyen Duc Canh scholarship program is a typical activity in caring for workers' children. Over the past 31 years, the program has awarded hundreds of thousands of scholarships.

"This is an inspirational message for students who are children of workers and laborers throughout the city, so that they continue to strive to study, nurture their dreams, practice and contribute their talents, and contribute to the country entering an era of strong and prosperous development," Ms. Xuong emphasized.
At the program, 300 Nguyen Duc Canh city-level scholarships in 2025 were awarded to students who are children of workers and laborers in difficult circumstances and have made efforts to excel in their studies.
Each scholarship includes 1 million VND in cash, 1 health check voucher and 1 gift, total value of more than 2.1 million VND/scholarship.
In addition, the Organizing Committee presented 240 gifts to female workers in difficult circumstances. Each gift included 500,000 VND in cash, 1 health check-up voucher, general examination services and gifts, with a total value of 2.1 million VND/gift.

Also in the program, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation presented 900 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances. Each gift included 1 million VND in cash, 1 health check voucher and 1 gift, total value 2.1 million VND/gift.
It is known that the program to care for workers and laborers in difficulty in 2025 will be held at three locations: Binh Duong (old), Ba Ria - Vung Tau (old) and Ho Chi Minh City.
