On the morning of August 30, 2024, the Ninh Thuan Provincial Women's Union coordinated with the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade, Ninh Thuan Branch to award Nguyen Thi Dinh scholarships to female students with difficult circumstances who have overcome difficulties and studied well in the 2024-2025 school year.
Speaking at the Scholarship Awarding Ceremony, Chairwoman of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Women's Union Phan Thi Ngan Hanh expressed her gratitude to the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade - Ninh Thuan Branch for always paying attention to poor female students with difficult circumstances in the province and for accompanying the Provincial Women's Union in implementing the Program over the past 14 years. To date, the program has supported 387 scholarships worth over 371 million VND.
At the ceremony, 25 scholarships were awarded to female students, with a total value of 20,500,000 VND. Of these, 15 scholarships were for primary school students, worth 700,000 VND/scholarship; 10 scholarships were for secondary school students, worth 1 million VND/scholarship. Each scholarship that the students received not only has material significance but also has spiritual value, demonstrating the support of the Women's Union as well as philanthropists, helping them have more determination to overcome difficulties, continue on their educational path and hope that in the coming school years, they will continue to overcome difficulties, achieve many high achievements in studying and strive to practice in the 2024-2025 school year.
