The Quang Ngai Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin has donated 10 electric wheelchairs, each worth 17 million VND, to Agent Orange victims in Nghia Lo, Tra Cau, Tu Nghia, and Nghia Hanh communes. This meaningful activity demonstrates the spirit of mutual love and support of the community joining hands to ease the pain of Agent Orange. It helps the victims move more conveniently, live more comfortably, and have more motivation to improve their lives.
Ms. Le Thi Tuong, an Agent Orange victim in Minh Long commune, confided: “ In general, walking and standing are inconvenient. I have dreamed of having a car, but due to circumstances, now the Association has supported me with a car, I am very grateful. I sincerely thank the sponsor very much . ”

Mr. Dang Van Thinh, Chairman of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Quang Ngai Province, said: “ Based on the plan at the beginning of the year, the provincial Association has also resolutely implemented the mobilization of resources to effectively care for and help victims. After merging with the province, the number of victims in Quang Ngai has increased, the membership has also increased, so the resources required are increasingly difficult, but step by step, the Association of Victims, based on its experience and proactive spirit, has also mobilized resources . ”
After the merger of administrative units, Quang Ngai province has nearly 21,700 victims of Agent Orange. Of these, more than 5,000 victims receive state benefits and more than 5,700 victims are receiving social protection benefits.
