Over 176,000 people received assistance from the Red Cross movement.

On December 16th, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Red Cross Society held a conference to summarize its work and Red Cross activities in 2025 and to outline directions and tasks for 2026. Attending the conference was Mr. Vu Duy Hoang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

Following the reorganization and merger of administrative units and the implementation of a two-tiered local government model, the Provincial Red Cross Society currently has 52 grassroots organizations, 1,297 branches, and nearly 70,000 members.

Adhering to the motto "Red Cross – For everyone, everywhere," the Red Cross branches at all levels have implemented humanitarian activities comprehensively and effectively, linking them with the socio-economic development tasks of the locality.

In 2025, many key movements and programs achieved outstanding results, such as: the Compassionate Tet (Lunar New Year) campaign, the Humanitarian Month, voluntary blood donation, community health care, and disaster prevention and response.

The content and methods of operation continue to be innovated, strongly oriented towards the grassroots, attracting a large number of officials, members, volunteers, and people to participate. The total value of humanitarian activities in 2025 reached over 133.5 billion VND, contributing to assisting more than 176,000 disadvantaged individuals in the province.

The leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society presented Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam Red Cross Society to individuals with outstanding achievements in Red Cross work and movements in 2025.

In 2026, the Provincial Red Cross Society has set a goal of continuing to strengthen its outreach efforts, mobilize resources, enhance the capacity of its staff and members, and play a leading role in humanitarian activities.

The leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society presented Certificates of Commendation to collectives and individuals who achieved outstanding results in the work of the Red Cross Society and the Red Cross movement in 2025.

On this occasion, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society awarded Certificates of Merit to 6 individuals; the Provincial Red Cross Society awarded Certificates of Merit to 8 collectives and 10 individuals for their outstanding achievements in Red Cross work and activities in 2025.
