Not all law graduates work in courts, prosecutors or lawyers, but can work in many fields such as: state administrative agencies, police, journalists, notaries, forest rangers, customs, bailiffs, etc. Currently, many former law students are working in important positions in state agencies. In addition, law students after graduation can also work in businesses, do legal work or teach at universities, colleges, etc. The demand for human resources in the law industry is currently very large.

According to the annual survey of students after graduation of Hue University of Law, over 90% of students have jobs after 6 months of graduation. Currently, Hue University of Law has 6 functional departments, 5 affiliated faculties, 3 centers. The school is organizing training in 2 undergraduate programs: Law and Economic Law, 2 master's programs: Master of Economic Law and Master of Theory of State History and Law and 1 doctoral program in Economic Law. The total staff and lecturers of the school are 201 people, including 35 managers, 165 lecturers. Among the 165 lecturers, there are 16 associate professors, 64 doctors and 80 masters. During their studies at the school, students are fully equipped with basic knowledge of law, legal practice and politics , economics, culture and society. Right from school, students are exposed to reality through directly participating in court sessions, resolving situations based on real court judgments.

Legal staff must have a solid grasp of legal knowledge and also have a good understanding of the business operations of the enterprise. The working environment of legal staff is quite dynamic, so for students who do not know what to do after studying law or are hesitant about the economic - legal fields, the position of legal staff for enterprises can be a suitable choice for students”.

According to the Center for Human Resource Demand Forecasting and Labor Market Information, the demand for human resources in the legal sector will continue to increase in the coming period, in the context of Vietnam's international economic integration. Therefore, the demand for human resources in the legal sector will be very large, creating abundant job opportunities with attractive salaries.

The data on employment of students after graduation is very important for training institutions, it is the basis for assigning enrollment targets to training institutions; it reflects the training quality of the training institution and is also the basis for businesses to order training according to demand. A good training institution needs to have good output products. That product is students who must meet the needs of society and employers. Students having jobs after graduation is also an important indicator affecting the general employment index of the whole country, an important measure of the economy.
