Kinh Mon collected more than 1,100 units of blood in May

In May, Kinh Mon town (Hai Duong) collected 1,116 units of blood, the highest in a month ever.

On May 29, at the People's Committee of Thuong Quan commune, the Steering Committee for voluntary blood donation of Kinh Mon town organized the blood donation festival "Kinh Mon thousand red hearts" in 2025.

The program is coordinated by Viet Duc Friendship Hospital (Hanoi) - the unit directly implementing blood collection.

A large number of cadres, civil servants, youth union members, armed forces and people from communes and wards of Nam An Phu area participated in donating blood. The organizing committee received 238 units of blood.

Previously, on May 20, 22, and 28, the Kinh Mon Town Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee organized the blood donation festival "Kinh Mon, thousands of red hearts" in 2025 in the areas: Nhi Chieu, Tam Luu and administrative agencies, Bac An Phu.

The total amount of blood collected by the town in this voluntary blood donation campaign was 1,116 units, reaching over 85% of the yearly target.

This is a practical activity in response to the voluntary blood donation movement launched by the Provincial Red Cross Society, contributing to overcoming the blood shortage at medical facilities, especially in the summer of 2025.
