Delegation of National Assembly Deputies and leaders of Hai Duong Provincial People's Council had a dialogue with union members and workers on the morning of May 31.

The dialogue focused on difficulties and problems of workers such as income, benefits, life, employment, security and order, and traffic safety.

On the morning of May 31, the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province and leaders of the People's Council of Hai Duong province will have a dialogue with 200 union members and workers at the Labor Union Consulting and Support Center of the province.

Leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and leaders of a number of departments, branches, sectors and enterprises in the province will attend the dialogue and participate in resolving difficulties and problems of workers.

The Provincial Federation of Labor has requested the direct superior unions and grassroots unions to synthesize the opinions of union members and workers to participate in the dialogue. The opinions should focus on the difficulties and problems of workers such as income, benefits, life, employment, security and order, traffic safety, etc.

In April 2024, the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province coordinated with the Provincial Labor Federation to organize a thematic conference to meet voters before the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

At the conference, union members and workers were particularly interested in and expressed their opinions on a number of issues, such as housing support policies for workers, traffic congestion and accidents on Highway 5, salary increases, and reductions in working hours.

Up to now, many complaints from union members and workers have been addressed by all levels and sectors in the province.

In particular, the Provincial People's Committee is implementing many solutions to reduce traffic congestion and accidents on National Highway 5. In 2025, Hai Duong will implement 7 social housing projects with over 4,500 apartments, basically meeting part of the housing needs of workers and laborers in industrial parks. Enterprises are also interested in adjusting wages and reducing working hours according to regulations...
