Timely rescue of a young man intending to commit suicide

DNO - At 8:40 a.m. on May 30, Hoa Xuan Ward Police, Cam Le District received a report that a young man climbed onto the 4th floor balcony of a motel on 29-3 Street (Hoa Xuan Ward) with the intention of jumping to commit suicide.

Immediately, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Team of Cam Le District, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team and the Fire Prevention and Rescue Team of Hai Chau District under the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of the City Police quickly arrived at the scene to organize the rescue.

At the scene, the authorities quickly deployed inflatable buoys below and used a ladder truck to approach and persistently persuade the young man to remain calm. The police also gave him water to drink to stabilize his mental state.

After more than an hour of trying to persuade but seeing no positive changes, the Fire Police and Rescue Force deployed a team from the rooftop, ready to use ropes to approach and control the victim if necessary. At around 10:25, when discovering a loophole while the victim was distracted, the police force standing nearby immediately subdued and brought the victim to a safe area.

Initial information determined that the young man named TLBP (born 2000), residing in Gia Lai province, came to rent a room at the above mentioned motel at 0:00 on May 29. The incident happened this morning. The authorities are continuing to clarify the incident.
