Social insurance region XXIV officially operates from June 1

Khanh Hoa Provincial Social Insurance (VSI) has just announced that from June 1, 2025, VSI Region XXIV will officially operate (on the basis of merging Khanh Hoa Provincial Social Insurance and Ninh Thuan Provincial Social Insurance), headquartered at 5 Huynh Thuc Khang, Tan Tien Ward, Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province.

Social Insurance Region XXIV was established under Decision No. 1733 dated May 12, 2025 of the Minister of Finance on amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decision No. 391 dated February 26, 2025 of the Minister of Finance stipulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of Vietnam Social Insurance under the Ministry of Finance. According to the organizational structure, Social Insurance Region XXIV has 8 functional departments: Department of Collection Management and Participant Development; Department of Social Insurance Regime; Department of Health Insurance Regime; Department of Planning - Finance; Department of Inspection - Examination; Department of Organization - Administration; Department of Propaganda and Participant Support; Department of Information Technology and Digital Transformation.

Also in Decision No. 1733, the district-level Social Insurance under the Social Insurance Region XXIV continues to perform the tasks and powers of the Social Insurance in the management area until the competent authority rearranges it to suit the commune-level administrative unit.

The establishment of a regional social insurance agency aims to streamline the organizational apparatus according to the Party and State's policies, marking an important step in the management and implementation of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance policies in the province in the coming time.
