Preparations underway for the 2025 Asian Women's Beach Volleyball Championship

According to the organizers, the 2025 Asian Women's Beach Volleyball Tournament - Cloud Gate Cup is organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Vietnam Volleyball Federation and Cong May Group Joint Stock Company at Binh Kien beach, Tuy Hoa city.

The tournament will feature 22 teams from 10 countries and territories. The tournament will take place from April 21-28 (main competition from April 25-28).

As planned, on April 21, experts from the Vietnam and Asian Volleyball Federations will be present in Tuy Hoa City to coordinate with the local organizing committee, inspect the competition conditions, and ensure the tournament will be successful.

From April 21-24, the organizing committee will carry out technical activities of the tournament, and athletes will familiarize themselves with the field. The tournament will officially open at 8:00 a.m. on April 25 and close at 4:00 p.m. on April 28.

The local organizing committee has established 3 subcommittees: Content and propaganda subcommittee; logistics and reception subcommittee; security and medical subcommittee. Up to now, the standing agency of the tournament organizing committee (Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism) and the subcommittees have deployed their assigned work and tasks.

Reception work, hotel arrangement, means of transporting athletes, scripts for the opening and closing ceremonies, propaganda and communication work; security plans, fire prevention, healthcare, food safety and hygiene, etc.

According to Mr. Le Hoang Phu, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Head of the local Organizing Committee, this is one of the important sports tournaments of Phu Yen province in 2025. Phu Yen has experience in organizing beach volleyball tournaments and is highly appreciated by the Vietnam Volleyball Federation. This time, it will continue to promote the 2025 Asian Women's Beach Volleyball Tournament - Cloud Gate Cup to take place successfully, spreading and promoting the beautiful image of the homeland, people, and tourism of Phu Yen to athletes and friends at home and abroad.
