Deploying the work of making lists in the 2026 Economic Census

On September 29, in Long Xuyen ward (An Giang province), An Chau Statistics Office (An Giang Provincial Statistics Office) held a conference to deploy the work of compiling lists in the 2026 Economic Census.

At the conference, over 160 investigators from 10 communes (An Chau, Binh Hoa, Can Dang, Vinh Hanh, Vinh An, Thoai Son, Oc Eo, Tay Phu, Vinh Trach and Dinh My) were presented with key contents: Economic census plan for 2026; instructions on the process of making lists and using CAPI software ; reviewing the list of survey units, determining industry codes ; instructions on monitoring software, data processing and professional discussions.

The conference will help local investigators be fully equipped with knowledge, skills and tools to implement the survey to ensure progress, consistency and quality. The work of updating the area, collecting the list of forms will take place from October 1 to 31, 2025, cleaning the data in November 2025 and selecting samples in December 2025.
